Founder, Executive Director
Maxine founded BravelyRise in 2017 with a heart full of passion for Jesus and a deep desire to help people break free from the things that hold them back. Her vision for BravelyRise was to create a space where silenced stories could be heard, empowering individuals to find their true voice. Max is dedicated to sharing the Word of God and guiding others to see themselves through God's eyes, embracing their true identity and purpose. Her unwavering faith and commitment continue to inspire and uplift everyone who connects with BravelyRise.
MONIQUE BROWN
Discussion Leader
Monique joined the BravelyRise journey as a participant in our very first cohort and quickly became an integral part of our community. Her infectious laughter, warmth, and genuine love for women have made her a cherished speaker and discussion leader in our retreats. Monique's passion for fostering connection and creating a supportive community shines through in every session she leads. Her spirit and willingness to uplift others keep her coming back, inspiring and empowering each new cohort with her heartfelt presence.
MARY HUBENTHAL
Discussion Leader
Mary joined BravelyRise during our newer wave of retreats and has quickly become a beloved discussion leader. Her empathetic nature and powerful prayer life make her a beacon of encouragement and strength. Mary has a unique ability to sit with women in their hardest moments, offering unwavering support while helping them pursue their goals. Her presence brings a light to every room she enters, uplifting and inspiring everyone around her with her compassionate heart and steadfast faith.
LIZ CHALUISANT
Discussion Leader
Liz, affectionately known as Lizzy, first joined BravelyRise during our newer retreats and has been a vital part of our community ever since. This will be her first time stepping into the role of discussion leader, though she has previously lent her talents to our hospitality team. Lizzy is a fierce and loyal friend, an incredible encourager, and possesses a remarkable ability to navigate complex issues with love and empathy. Her compassionate heart and unwavering support make her a cherished member of our BravelyRise family.

Speaker, Hospitality Leader
Angie has been a cornerstone of BravelyRise since our very first retreat, consistently returning as both a speaker and discussion leader. This year, she steps into an additional role as our hospitality lead, bringing her incredible heart and exceptional communication skills to every aspect of the experience. Angie is known for her willingness to help anyone in need and her powerful personal story resonates deeply with many women. Her presence brings warmth, compassion, and inspiration, and we are thrilled to have her continue to be a vital part of the BravelyRise journey.
